HEMS Enterprise

Managing a large work force across several service departments while doing more and spending less. At the end of the week, did high priority work finish? If there’s a backlog of work what type of work is it and is the backlog growing or under control? What air handler schedules remains undone? For the month, did Bio-medical engineering complete all high priority, patient related scheduled maintenance?

Solution

Development of HEMS Enterprise received direct input from six hundred health care equipment management professionals nationwide.  A complete management system designed to meet the new challenges of equipment planning/management, cross-departmental work management, and cross-corporation reporting.

HEMS Enterprise, whether it's one service department or fifty service departments, track the work and equipment management in plant, biomedical, housekeeping, security, telecommunications, and other departments, all from one central system. Each service department shares information while still being able to configure HEMS Enterprise to reflect their respective points-of-view.

In other words, the biomedical department views only those procedures associated with clinical equipment while plant engineers view only those procedures associated with facilities management. Both service departments share one standard list for departments, users, locations, etc.

HEMS Enterprise reporting tools generate standard reports that enable efficient management oversight of all departmental activities. Using these reports, department managers keep backlogs low while ensuring compliance with mandated equipment inspections and maintenance procedures. Beyond standard reports, EQ2 Reports and EQ2 Crystal add customized report creation and export capabilities of HEMS Enterprise information. Export directly to spreadsheets, word processors, email, or Intra or Internet Web page.
